Sometimes I will link to another site or recommend something. I try to be sure that if I'm associated with the link or referral  in some way that I'm very clear what my association is and/or if I get anything out of it.

If I happen to review a piece of hardware or software, I'll say if it was submitted for review by a vendor or manufacturer, and if I got anything out of that, including simply keeping the reviewed thing.

I do insist on one thing:  I will never sell a good (or bad) review. Period.
